Throwing Classes:

 

  • Adult throwing classes run in four to six week sessions.  Classes fill quickly and are usually held on a weeknight in the evening.  We request that you subscribe to our email list to keep up to date about classes and events.   

  • You may also email us to find out what our latest class schedule looks like.

  • We look forward to meeting you!

  • 4 week classes are $160, six week classes $240 including instruction and materials. We teach to the individual's level of experience. 

  • Subsequent classes build on your previous skills.

Shelfies:

  • Must be juried by the CCC and have enough ceramic experience and knowledge of our studio and it’s workings to work independently.

  • $120 per month due 1st of the month. Late fee of $25 after the 10th of the month.

  • Must purchase clay from the CCC.

  • Receive half shelf space and access to door code.

  • Hours: 7am-9pm We reserve the right to close for events and classes.

 

Clay Prices -Includes Glaze and Firing (not for drop-ins):

  • 900 Stoneware, 25lbs - $35

  • BMIX & 510 White Stoneware, 25lbs - $35

  • Porcelain, 25lbs - $50

 

Full Kiln Loads for extra firing (upon approval):

  • Small Bisque - $55

  • Large Bisque - $65

  • Large Glaze - $80

 

Additional Fees:

  • Late Fee: 'Shelfie' rent is not paid by the 10th of the month will incur a $25 late fee

  • Bounced check fee: $50

  • Wheel cleaning fee - if we have to clean up after you: $20

  • Shelf grinding fee - if your work requires us to grind/rewash shelf:  $25

  • Shelf replacement fee - if your work ruins a shelf: $60

CANCELLATION POLICY

To cancel a registration and receive a refund, you must notify the CCC at least 10 days before the start date of your class. We will refund your payment minus a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 10 days before the start date of the class. In the event that the Clay Center is forced to cancel a class, a full refund will be issued. Tuition cannot be pro-rated. There are no make-up sessions. Classes usually fill quickly, so please register early! There are no other exceptions to this policy.

COVID-19 Amendment: If you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to COVID-19, please follow proper quarantine protocols, notify CCC staff, and do not come into the studio until you are in the clear. If you miss classes directly because of COVID-19, CCC staff will review each situation on a case-by-case basis.
